Incident Details: Owners returned to their slip and found their locked 27’ panga had been stolen between 1930HRS and 0800HRS. Reports were made to the police and Port Captain . ||Details : 27’ panga "la Orca" with 12’ permanent Bimini. aqua blue, orange trim and white inside. Yamaha 115 4 stroke model F115BET SN 6EK-X-1087782||UPDATE: panga was located in the mangroves near Diamond Rock (on the north coast) . All controls and electronics and 115HP -4S engine were stripped/stolen.

They reported the theft to their charter company and while underway to get their replacement dinghy they saw and retrieved another (stripped/engineless) dinghy that was adrift. Incident Details: A yacht in the Dutch-side lagoon was boarded while owners and guests slept onboard. The thieves entered the catamaran's cabins and stole phones and a tablet.||A report was made to the police and Coast Guard. Another boat was also boarded (twice) this same night, see 3429.

Incident Details: After a late dinner owners were unable to start the engine so left their dinghy overnight locked to the marina dock. When they returned at 0500HRS to retrieve it, they discovered it had been stolen. Using an AirTag, they located the dinghy at the Dutch Coast Guard. It had been intercepted by them during the early morning hours. A police report was made and the dinghy was returned to the owner.

Incident Details: Owner left their locked dinghy for about 30 minutes at the Port Royal dock. When they returned and found it had been stolen they received assistance from another boat owner. Calls to the police were not answered, and when they called the fire department they were advised to make a report the next day. They utilized a tracker signal to locate the dinghy, at a Dutch-side waterfront marina bar. They retrieved it when the suspect fled on foot. It was loaded with tools and personal goods that had been stolen from a cruising boat, which were returned to their owner. A police statement was made.

Incident Details: Overnight while the owners slept onboard their in-the-water and cable locked dinghy was stolen. A report was made on the local VHF, and to the police.||UPDATE: BVI maritime police recovered the badly damaged dinghy from the beach at Great Harbour, JVD. It was returned to the owners who will salvage it for parts.
