Incident Details: The owner returned to their locked dinghy at the Leader Price dock at 1000HRS and found that their not locked fuel tank/line had been stolen. It is not known if a police report was made.

Incident Details: A cruiser left their dinghy at the St. Anne dinghy dock on a rising tide around noon, and deployed a stern anchor. When they returned at around 1700HRS they found that the stern anchor and chain had been carefully untied from the rode and stolen. No police report was made.

Incident Details: Before departing, owners secured their tender on the flybridge of their motor yacht which was left in a slip at Marina Carenero. The tender was covered, and the cover was tied down. During their absence , between April 25 – May 12, 2023, a thief boarded and removed 2 (full) 3 gallon gas jugs that were stored inside and below the bench seat of the covered dinghy. Their minder had not noted any disturbances, but the owners noticed the aft end of the cover was untied, and on further inspection found that the fuel jugs had been stolen. A report was made to the marina.

Incident Details: A yacht anchored overnight in Halifax Harbor. When the crew awoke the next morning their in-the-water and not locked dinghy had been stolen, the painter had been cut. They searched on the beach and found the dinghy but the outboard, fuel tank and oars were missing. ||A police report was made.

Incident Details: Three boats in the north end of the mooring field were targeted by 3 well prepared thieves equipped with bolt cutters. Yachts #1 and #2 had the locks on the engines of their in-the water (locked) dinghies stolen. Yacht #3 interrupted the thieves as they were attempting to cut the lock on their raised and locked dinghy's outboard. Two of the men jumped in the water and the third left in the motorized panga, and it is believed he picked the swimmers up.
