Incident Details A yacht anchored off Princess Margaret beach, Bequia, was boarded between midnight and 0600HRS while the owners slept onboard. The yacht was not locked and the thieves entered the salon/cabins and stole cash, credit cards, computers and a first aid kit. A report was made to the Coast Guard and the police.

Incident Details A man attempted to board the yacht at 2300HRS from his paddleboard and was deterred by the owner's dog. He retreated immediately, and nothing was stolen.

Incident Details An unoccupied catamaran was moored in Prickly Bay. A thief arrived with tools and wearing gloves but was unable to gain entry to the yachts interior. He stole fishing gear from an unlocked lazarette before departing. All the activity was recorded by the yachts security cameras.||A report was made to police and coast guard. There have been no updates on their investigation.

Incident Details CSSN NOTE: This report replaces a previous PRELIMINARY 2nd hand report (3105)||A yacht with two persons on board anchored alone in Buccament Bay, St. Vincent around 1000HRS. At 0015HRS they were boarded by two men, armed with a gun and a knife who broke through the companionway door. The crew was held at gunpoint (head) and knifepoint (back). The armed men ransacked (and damaged) the yacht before roughly taking a ring from the woman's finger, which later required medical treatment. Also cash, binoculars, fishing/diving gear, and a large flashlight were stolen.||After about an hour onboard the men left rowing a wooden boat. A report was made to the police and Coast Guard.

Incident Details Cruisers returned to their boat docked in Marina Carenero and found that 2 fenders had been stolen. Unfortunately the thief managed to find their recently installed security cameras’ blind spots. They reported to theft to the marina and to others berthed there.

Incident Details Around 1800HRS a local boat was stolen from the marina dock. It was not locked . The theft was reported to the marina . It is not known if a police report was made.

Incident Details A yacht anchored off Princess Margaret beach had their in-the-water and cable locked dinghy stolen overnight while they slept onboard. The thief stole a surf board from a nearby beach bar and used it to reach the yacht. The dinghy was taken to the beach and the 15HP Yamaha outboard removed. The dinghy, fuel tank and surfboard were abandoned on the beach, and later recovered. ||A report was made to the police and Coast Guard.

Incident Details A yacht arrived in Trinidad and took a mooring near Peakes. Overnight while asleep onboard their in-the-water and cable locked Avon dinghy (SN AVB14263B19) / 15HP Yamaha engine (SN 1174350) was stolen. ||Reports were made to the police, Coast Guard and the marina.||CSSN NOTE: recently there have been several dinghy thefts in this bay, as well as incidents of attempted robbery and assault.
