| Incident Details | While owners slept thieves untied the dinghy painter before discovering the locking cable that secured the dinghy/outboard and fuel tank. Diesel fuel jugs secured on the deck were also disturbed, but not taken. A spare fuel jug in the cockpit was not locked, and stolen. ||A second yacht in the anchorage interrupted the attempted theft of their panga, and was able to scare the thieves away. ||Reports were made to the marina and on the VHF net. |
