Incident Details Owners of a yacht anchored in Admiralty Bay, Bequia mistakenly left their dive fins in the dinghy overnight. They were stolen. A report was made on the VHF net.

Incident Details Owners were asleep onboard their catamaran and anchored off Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia. The dinghy was lifted in the davits. Thieves stole the 15HP Yamaha outboard from the dinghy transom, it was not locked.

A police report was made.

Incident Details Overnight an in-the-water and not locked dinghy/outboard was stolen from a yacht anchored in Admiralty Bay.

The dinghy was returned to the yacht the next day after a $300ECD fee was paid.

CSSN UPDATE: The victim has clarified his initial input. The engine was locked to the dinghy, but the dinghy was not locked to the yacht. It had been tied to to the yacht with new/perfect condition rope, that was found “broken”.

Incident Details The owners of a yacht anchored near La Bateliere, Fort de France, Martinique awoke to find their dinghy/15HP outboard had been stolen overnight. A report was made to the police.

The Gendarmes recovered the dinghy.

Incident Details Overnight an in-the-water and locked dinghy was stolen from a yacht berthed in the Rodney Bay marina. Another yacht in another section of the marina was similarly affected (see 3673)

Both dinghies were found the next day in other parts of the marina.

Incident Details A yacht berthed in Rodney Bay marina awoke to find their in-the water and locked dinghy had been stolen overnight. A report was made to the marina, police and Coast Guard. Another yacht in the marina had a similar experience.

Both dinghies were found the next day, tied in other parts of the marina. See 3674

Incident Details At 0030HRS an unlocked yacht anchored in Mt. Irvine Bay, Tobago was boarded while the owners slept onboard. Two masked men, armed with a metal bar attacked one of the crew, inflicting injuries before stealing cash, credit cards, phones, laptops and other personal electronics, as well as the yacht’s dinghy/outboard. A police report was made.
