Incident Details At about 0900HRS a panga with young men was noticed at an (unoccupied) boat as they were loading items from the yacht’s deck into the panga. A cruiser aboard a neighboring yacht began yelling. They returned the items to the yacht and departed. It is not known if a police report was made.

Incident Details The owners of a yacht anchored in Arashi Bay awoke to find that their in-the-water and not locked dinghy/20HP Mercury outboard had been stolen overnight.

A report was made to the police, and the Port Captain.

Incident Details A yacht transiting the Panama Canal anchored in Gatun Lake near Isla Bamboo . A launcha approached and attempted to steal the dinghy’s outboard engine. A line handler who was sleeping in the cockpit was awakened and the launcha sped away. The police were called and sent a boat to take a report.

Incident Details An unoccupied yacht on a mooring near Witches Tit was burglarized. Thieves used bolt cutters to gain entry via the companionway. The cockpit lights were removed, and the interior was fully ransacked, damaging some of the storage areas.

Many things were stolen, including power and hand tools, vacuum cleaner, fire extinguishers, speakers, flashlights, flare gun kit, painting equipment and accessories, spares including bilge pump, plumbing fittings, fasteners and electrical parts. as well as buckets, rope, fuel jugs, large containers and small items, and sail bags.
