Incident Details A yacht was boarded in the early evening and the handle from the bilge pump was used to force the padlock from the companionway hatch. The boat was methodically tossed and laptops, electronics, fishing gear, flare gun/shells and large bolt/cable cutters were stolen. No damage other than the lock was done and it seemed that the intruder was efficient and likely only onboard for a very short time.

Incident Details A well locked 20HP outboard (Honda BF20 serial number BAMJ-1034680) was stolen from its well locked RIB dinghy at the sand spit near the head of Chemin Bay overnight . Tools were required and some damage was noted by the owner. A report was made to the police and the coast guard.

Incident Details Overnight an 18FT Carolina skiff / 60 HP Mercury was stolen from The Dutch side lagoon. It was recovered minus the outboard on the French side the next day. Incident Details Owners returned to their yacht and discovered that during the period of Jan 9 through Jan 19, 2021, a thief had boarded their yacht and stolen the chartplotter from the cockpit helm. The chart plotter was mounted to the fiberglass of the helm. The thief removed the trim and eight securing screws, unplugged and removed the unit. No damage was done to remove the unit. No other equipment was taken. || A police report was made, and forensics collected.

Incident Details The owner of a catamaran was onboard and heard noise on deck at 3:40 am. He found a woman on deck hiding near the mast who then jumped over and swam ashore. A locker had been opened, rifled and several items removed, but they were left behind. || A police report was made.
