Incident Details An unoccupied yacht was stolen from Great Cruz Bay, St. John overnight. The theft was reported to USCG, police, CBP and DPNR. Incident Details Owners discovered that their cruising yacht berthed at Marina Zar Par was burgled during the 8 weeks that they were away. Thieves stole cash, credit cards, a computer and speakers from the locked yacht. A report was made to the marina manager before the yacht departed.

Incident Details Owners aboard a yacht on a mooring in Les Saintes harbor discovered that their 2 fishing poles had been stolen. They had both been secured with dyneema safety straps, which had been cut. Other items (snorkel gear, grill) which were nearby were not taken. The theft was reported to the moorings operator, and the police who were helpful and took/provided a full report.

Incident Details Owners left the yacht in Marlin Marina Cienfuegos for a few days. Despite security on the dock, a thief had stolen 3 masks/snorkels from the unlocked cockpit locker during their brief absence. There was no damage and the thieves did not enter the locked yacht.|| A second yacht (buddy boat) had swim fins taken during the same timeframe (see 2753).

Incident Details Owners left the boat in Marlin Marina Cienfuegos for a few days. When they returned they found that a thief had stolen 2 pairs of dive fins from their unlocked cockpit locker , there was no damage and the thieves did not enter the locked yacht. (boat #2, see 2752)

Incident Details Overnight the in-the-water and not locked AB dinghy/15HP outboard was stolen. A verbal report was made to the Marine Park, and a police report was made at Union Island, SVG.

Incident Details A yacht owner was awakened when he heard sounds against the hull at 0445HRS on his first night in Chatham Bay. He found two males had come alongside in a small unpowered boat with padded gunwales, near the bow where the dinghy had been stored overnight on deck. He began yelling and they quickly rowed away, offering no explanation for their presence. The captain alerted the other 12 or so yachts in the anchorage by VHF and by ringing the yachts bell.

Incident Details A local yacht owner's dinghy was stolen from the sandbar area known as Old Harbour in Chemin Bay, Westerhall, over the weekend. The outboard was not left on the dinghy and the dinghy was chain locked to another larger boat but could have been accessed from land or seaside. A report was made to the Coast Guard.
