During a routine weekly check, the minder of a yacht moored in Mt. Hartman Bay found that the yacht had been burgled. The interior was fully ransacked and the owners will determine what has been stolen. The thieves had entered through a hatch which did not appear to be damaged.
The police were notified and came and took fingerprints. A few days earlier 2 teenagers (ages 14/15) were apprehended when another minder observed a kayak (stolen) at a yacht where it should not have been. The cases may be related and police are continuing thier investigation. |
