Incident Details
The owners of a catamaran recently hauled in Clarkes Court Boatyard were advised by a friend that there had been a break-in on their yacht. The thieves had cut out the weather stripping of the catamaran’s sliding door in an attempt to remove the glass which was unsuccessful, and they also bent a very heavy hasp. They found a hatch mistakenly left open/unlocked and stole rum and ginger ale, otherwise the interior appeared undisturbed.
