Incident Details: A yacht anchored off the Casa Vela dinghy dock. Overnight, while the owners slept onboard their in-the-water and chain locked dinghy was stolen by well prepared thieves. Incident Details: Cruisers visited Hog Island midafternoon and left their dinghy while they took a brief walk. On their return about 45 minutes later they found their dinghy had been vandalized. Approximately 10 liters of dirty fuel had been dumped in the (unlocked) bow compartment. Nothing was stolen but the locker contents were filthy, some ruined. A report was made on the local VHF net.
