A lone male armed with a knife approached from behind, cut the strap of her backpack with a knife and then fled back toward Hog Island. A police report is planned.

Incident Details: A cruiser returned to his yacht anchored in Le Marin after an absence of about 3 months. He found the locked companionway damaged, and the interior ransacked. Many things were taken from inside the yacht including a laptop, the stored outboard, many tools, the EPIRB. Also the VHF radio, GPS, autopilot and depth sounder were stolen. The burglar spent time removing these installed items.
