The owners of a yacht anchored in Linton Bay used 2 chains/locks, and a heavy cable to secure their lifted dinghy/outboard. At 0200HRS they were awoken by noise, and later found the cable had been cut, but the thieves were not successful.
A second dinghy was stolen the same night, its line and chain cut. See 3823. |
