Incident Details: A locked 3D dinghy/9.8HP Tohatsu outboard was stolen overnight from the Polypat boatyard dinghy dock. ||The boatyard management was notified and a police report was made.||UPDATE: A fisherman recovered the dinghy seaside in Nettle Bay. It had been slashed and loaded with rocks and was minus the outboard engine.

Incident Details: A yacht owner was sleeping on board at the Geminga boatyard dock and awoke at 0300HRS to unusual movement of the boat. A thief was observed on deck and he departed quickly as the captain made some noise to indicate his presence and awareness. Two (2) type 1 pfd's and a heat gun in its case were stolen. ||A report was made to the yard/marina and video surveillance was reviewed. The thief appeared to be armed with a large knife. A police report is planned.

Incident Details: Owners returned to their catamaran that was moored near Witches Tit between 21-27 May. They found dark shoe prints onboard, leading directly to a missing chart plotter on the starboard helm. The yacht was well locked and the video security system captured the theft. The thief seemed to be aware of the video surveillance and made no attempt to enter the well locked yacht and left other valuable items behind, including the portside instruments and chart plotter. ||A police report was made, and the officials indicated that they would visit the yacht, review the video and collect forensics later in the week.

The thief stole a wallet, cash, bankcards, phonecards, and a speaker from within 1 meter of where the owner slept. A phone and laptop were not taken.
