A yacht arrived at the Pitons in the late afternoon and politely declined the assistance of a young man who offered tie up services. The man became verbally abusive, threatened the cruisers and then demanded that they leave St. Lucia.
The SMMA park rangers were called on VHF (no response) and on their listed phone numbers (no answer). Later, the rangers arrived to collect fees and indicated they knew the individual and would look into it. |
