Incident Details
At 0200HRS the owner of a yacht anchored in Linton Bay was awakened by noise. Two men had boarded the yacht and were attempting to steal the 15HP engine which was locked to the transom of the the raised (2M) and locked dinghy. They began yelling and the men jumped in the water, swam away, leaving their wooden panga adrift.
