| Incident Details | A crew member awoke at 0300HRS to noise in the cockpit, and did not investigate thinking it was the captain. The yacht was well secured, including all cockpit / lazarette lockers. Nothing was available to the thief, and they were not successful. The crew member reported the occurrence the next morning to the captain/owner. ||CSSN NOTE: A second yacht in the anchorage experienced a theft this same night. (see incident 2871) |
