Incident Details: The owner of a yacht on an SMMA mooring had been asleep on deck, and awoke when it began to rain. As he was returning to the interior salon he noticed a thief in a dinghy was attempting to steal the yacht’s in-the-water but locked dinghy. The owner began yelling and the thief started his own engine and departed quickly to the south.
