Incident Details: A yacht was boarded in the early evening and the handle from the bilge pump was used to force the padlock from the companionway hatch. The boat was methodically tossed and laptops, electronics, fishing gear, flare gun/shells and large bolt/cable cutters were stolen. No damage other than the lock was done and it seemed that the intruder was efficient and likely only onboard for a very short time.

Incident Details: The owner of a catamaran was onboard and heard noise on deck at 3:40 am. He found a woman on deck hiding near the mast who then jumped over and swam ashore. A locker had been opened, rifled and several items removed, but they were left behind. || A police report was made.

Incident Details: Between 0200 and 0400 hours while the crew slept on board a swimmer boarded their catamaran in Marigot Bay and broke in thru the locked door. They discovered the theft and wet footprints at about 0700 hours. Stolen items included personal electronics, a laptop, binoculars, a search light, sunglasses and a wallet with cash and credit cards (one cc was used at 0400 hours), other items and a backpack. ||A report was made to the police, who visited the boat for photos and forensics. The police indicated that this was the 4th such incident recently, sadly CSSN has NOT received reports about these earlier incidents. Incident Details: A dinghy locked overnight to the TOBY dinghy dock was stolen, its much better secured outboard (locked separately to the dock with heavy chain) was removed from the dinghy and left on the dock. A report was made to the marina/boatyard and on the VHF net. A substantial reward was offered and the dinghy recovered the next day.
