| Incident Details | A yacht anchored close to the shore with a light onshore breeze noticed their in-the-water and not locked dinghy was missing around 2100 HRS. A search was conducted and the dinghy was not located. A police report was made the next day. Days later the dinghy was found adrift off Puerto Rico, and the engine was still present. The captain believes the dinghy was used for a joyride or other purpose and will retrieve the dinghy from PR. |
