Incident Details: Dinghy/outboard was cable locked to the dinghy dock by the fuel station. It has since been found in good order anchored off pigeon beach but with the 2ft blue bolt cutters and the cut cable left inside the dinghy. The thief was unable to defeat the locking system that secured the outboard to the dinghy. A police report was made.

Incident Details: A dinghy/9HP Yamaha was cable locked to the dinghy dock near Indigo in the marina. The dinghy was later found minus the outboard engine. A police report was made. The dock is reported to have video surveillance. ||CSSN NOTE: the local police indicated that 5-8 dinghy/outboard thefts had occurred in the past week. Source Type: 1st Hand Report

Incident Details: Owners tied the dinghy to the dock between Buccaneers and Simpson Bay Marina when they went for dinner at 1830HRs. When they returned at 2130HRS, only a portion of the cut painter remained. A report was made to the Coast Guard.||UPDATE 30 April 2022 : A police report was made and a charter company recovered the "left behind" dinghy in Simpson Bay, it was complete and undamaged when it was returned to the owners
